Mass medical strains are a common occurrence in our society but can also be very dangerous. I’ve seen people with severe, chronic musculoskeletal pain that is so bad that they can’t move, because it’s so painful the muscles are paralyzed. To take care of the pain, they have to use painkillers on a daily basis, which is another reason why I’m so against the overuse of painkillers.
